Denim on denim

I'm not trying to repeat what Justin and Britney did in the early 2000's, but I think I really like this look of denim on denim.  A couple of rules apply in wearing this style:  the top and bottom denim have to be in different shades, and a couple of accessories is a must!  Do you say yea or nay to this look? 
shirt: gap
jeans: bdg
trench: banana republic
shoes: nine west outlet
purse: coach
belt: uo
necklace: forever21
ring: self made (how to coming soon!)

  4. Haha, the difference between you and Justin & Britney, is that you actually know how to style denim on denim ;)
    The different wash on them makes it okay to mix! Love how you pulled it off. Plus, that ring is super cute <3
