Flowers and initials

With summer around the corner, loose skirts and dresses are key pieces to have in the closet.  It's been in the mid 90s this weekend, and honestly, I'm scared what this summer is going to feel like here in Texas.  Today, I'm gray on gray once again (another gray + gray here) with jewelry in gold. 
This necklace is my gift for this year's mother's day; featured here.
I was looking for shoes in neutral this morning, and decided orange was the new neutral this year!  Also worn here.
I actually planted these flowers myself in our front yard.  It's too bad I don't have a green thumb, but at least they're not all dead (yet)!!

  2. I love love love your shoes! So cute! Platforms in the front always intimidate me. I feel like I'll fall off of them. Are these easy to walk in?

    1. Hi Nadine! Yea... they could be kind of scary at first, but they're actually really comfortable once you get used to them... you should definitely try them for this coming summer! :)

  13. Love the shoes! Platforms that are curved in the front are scary to walk in, especially when the ground is uneven. Maybe you can post a blog on how to properly walk in them? :) I know I'd be grateful for the lesson!
