I've been wanting this lulu frost bracelet for some time now, and John told me last week that he found out that there are only 3 left (in the color) in the whole country, and bought it for me for one of my Christmas presents. I am one lucky girl! 

 

On another note, Happy New Year's Eve, everyone!  Can you believe that today is the last day of 2012?  I was thinking about what I've done the last year and if I have any regrets.  Of course, I do have some, but decided not to dwell on them.  I'm just going to make 2013 an even better year!

Happy Monday, everyone and Merry Christmas eve!!!  I cannot believe that this year is already almost gone.  If I reflect back on the year 2012, I honestly feel like I haven't done much, but a lot did happen.  I'm raising a toddler and got prego again; I also started this blog and it's been a lot of fun.  I'm so thankful I have a place to call my "creative outlet". 

 

Well, these sneakers are something I usually would not like or wear, but once I saw them, I knew I had to have them!  So, John bought them for me for Christmas!  They are super comfortable and really stylish for high tops.  Also, how funny is it that I can buy tights at bed bath and beyond?  These are fleece lined and really comfortable even for a prego with a gigantic belly.

Happy Monday, everyone.  I am grateful I am alive and awake another day.  I didn't know how to express the way I felt about what has happened in Newtown last Friday, so I wasn't going to mention it at all on this blog.  However, all the information of this horrific tragedy isn't leaving my brain.  I keep thinking it was just a bad dream that I had or even a really crappy movie I saw... but it isn't.  It really happened, and sweet innocent angels and teachers lost their lives.  I spent most of the weekend  holding my own sweet toddler with tears in my eyes both because of the sadness I felt for those parents and for the gratefulness I felt to be able to hold my baby.  We really need God.  This world is  filled with evil, and we just really need Him.  I am praying for the families in Newtown to find some kind of peace at this time. 

 

About the outfit... nothing I have on is maternity, and it's just a miracle I can still put these things on my fat butt.  :)

Good morning, everyone!!  I was complaining about how the weather was in the 80s last Monday, and today we wake up to frost on our roofs!  Texas weather... you have once again proven that you are crazy.  I love it!!  It feels like December! :) 

 

Well, readers, I've recently realized that it is really hard to dress your pregnant self in regular people clothes and still look somewhat stylish.  I don't know why I'm avoiding maternity clothes like the plague this pregnancy, but I am.  I'm also in my third trimester and my belly (and butt) has grown significantly.  Please forgive me if all my outfits look similar.  I'm really struggling to come up with cute non-maternity outfits.  But look how cute my new shoes are!!  So comfy and super practical even with the bright pink color.  :)

 

pregnancy update:

week - 28 (third and last trimester!)

size of baby - 2 1/4 lbs

weight gain - around 25... yikes!

cravings - sugar, esp chocolate and sweet tea

for of exercise - lugging around my 35lb 21 month old (yes, he weighs 35lbs)

 I'm not really into festive decorations except when it come to Christmas.  There's just something about this time of the year.  Even though the weather feels like it should be September instead of December, I try every year to make our home feel cheery and appropriate for Christmas.

Good Monday, everyone!  Believe it or not, it's 80+ degrees here in Texas.  I know Texas weather is unpredictable and definitely more warm than cold, but c'mon!  It's December.  We put up our Christmas decorations (pictures to come soon) and had the ac on at the same time.  I'm not a fan of super freezing weather, but this is just ridiculous, I say.  And although the weather feels like summer, I refuse to wear anything other than what is appropriate for at least fall-ish weather.

size of baby - about 2lbs.

weight gain - a lot more than 2lbs...

birth plan - scheduled c-sect date is set!

cravings - nothing unusual

gestational diabetes - negative!!!!!  I was so worried, but woot!  I'm good :)

preparations - so far, dresser, and a ton of hand-me-downs from generous people!  So thankful!!
