Throwback Thursday

I'm honestly not trying to compare my daughter, Jordyn, with me when I was a baby because honestly, look at her... she is just so much cuter and prettier!  But look at our hair!!!  how similar are they!?  My parents keep telling me how much she reminds them of me when I was a baby, and I guess I can see it too, but she is just so much more of a beauty.  I can't wait to see her all grown up and see what kind of a woman she is going to be and what she will look like. 

FYI... my mom argues blue was the color for girls in the 80s... in Korea... haha

Faux

If you didn't know, 'faux' means false in French.  (I actually had to look it up before typing up this post just to make sure.)  I usually hate anything that's not true in its form; for example, I love the fruit cherries, but I hate anything cherry flavored.  So, I was pretty hesitant ordering this faux leather skirt online without even trying it on or even having a feel of the skin (leather is technically not a fabric, it is a 'skin'... ah another trivial information you were dying to know)  However, I can definitely see it becoming one of my favorites with its classic a-line shape and the surprising soft texture it has.



The uniform

Before I was pregnant with Jordyn, I would wear something just like this any time I would go out for a night out; a silky blouse, skinny jeans, and pumps.  It's nice to change things around and wear a cute dress or a skirt, but sometimes, (especially when I don't feel like thinking about what to wear) I like to go back to this simple uniform.
